what tooth tranny gear should i get? I have the savage 4.6. It came with a 44 plastic one that is junked now.

I think you mean the Spur gear hey..?...the one that you can see? the one that meshes with the clutch bell gear?...

here is a chart that someone linked me to...it is a great help...depending on your driving style/what you want out of the truck..

Do they make a 44th spur gear? I thought the smallest was 47th?

Stock motor? If so stick with the 47. Maybe a 49, but nothing taller.
