You can limit the shocks by opening them up and installing some fuel tube over the shafts. This will keep it from having full travel. Or you can buy a set of Extended LCG TVP plates that will drop the center of gravity lower and it wont roll as easy.

LCG chassis do not lower the ride height it lowers the engine, fuel tank and transmission but not the ride height. Yes it does help in handling and if you all so put the shock limiters in will help that much more. I run the HPI LCG chassis as it is not extended and does not affect the turning radius.

I never said it will lower the ride height. I said lowers center of gravity.

As twomanytoys said you take the shock apart and put a piece of tubing on the shock shaft (I use these as they do not break down like fuel line. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDLJ5&P=7)

Hey guys, just put half offset whell and you'll be good.
Since i run half offset wheel on mine with triple rate shock spring, it's prety hard to roll.

The only problem with off set wheels is it increases your turning radius. I know from experience. If all you do is bash no big problem but being I race makes a big difference.

The stock wheel on the savage have 0 offset, i mean that the wheel don't extends too much on the axle.
If you get Maximizer beadlock wheel with 1/2 offset, or Ofna dish wheel with 1/2 offset, your wheel will extend by 1/2 inch farther on each side, so your truck will be much more stable and your roll problem will be solve to 90%.

And like 46u said, yes, this offset wheel increases the turning radium a little bit, but 46u is a pure racer He drill his bodies, put lighter gear in the tranny and i think he remove outside element on his air filter to gain somes weight JOKE!!!!!!!!

But for bashing, it's the best think to do the offset wheel.

I've the Maximizer 1/2 offset beadlock one mine and love this so much

Just take out the shock spacers and it will sink a little bit.

Soften your springs and use lighter shock oil. your truck will sit lower and will roll less because the softer set up will suck up the turn.

Ya, but he asked how to do it with the parts that he already has and different wheels=quite a bit of money for some.

Just take the shock spacers off and move the shock possition to the higher one and that will drop it enough. I did it and didn't roll over

I agree with this suggestion. Completely free and simple.

Highly recommend you try this one before you get all fancy with the new parts and taking apart of things.

The shock spacers are the plastic clips at the top of the spring on each shock. Take them off, drive it, and see if you like it.
