Default HLEP!!! Only front wheel drive

Yesterday I was running my x 4.6 and I saw a wood stick in the rear wheels them the real wheels don't move just only the front wheels. I moved the spur gear I just only the from wheels move.I take out the real differential and now I'm trying to open it. But the main problemas is the real wheels don't move. I take out the spur gear I saw all the inside gears and everything look good. Please help me.

PD: I pressed the throutle in the radio control and the front wheel go crazy.

The Differential are good. All the gear are good. The problem is after the differential. The gear that are in contact with the differential box are good. So the problem must be in the shaft and brakes area or transmission. I put the car in the air and roll one rear wheel and the other wheel don't move. Help please

Have you checked that screws are still in the cup joints for the rear shaft, and that the screws are ok? I doubt that the transmission is the problem. Another thing to check are the 2 diff shafts/cups, there is a pin inside the diff that make them rotate. Havent heard of anyone that has broken those pins, but it might happen for all I know.

Hehe, its the real thing. It should be rear shaft, the one between diff and transmission.

oh ok sorry man. I speak spanish and I have to translate everything. That is the next step. I don't have my truck here but I have the differential and everything is good. If the screw is out, I can turn one wheel and the other don't move?( rear wheels )

Im from norway, so Im not any good at english either, so no problem If Im not wrong you can spin one wheel, yeah.

Edit: had to go over to my truck and check, and that is correct. If the screw for the cup nearest diff are missing, shaft will not spin and other wheel will not spin.

Dumb question - but did you make sure you didn't throw the main driveshaft to the rear wheels?

My buddy completely lost the center drive shaft that powers the rear wheels on a cartwheel landing.

I've had this happen a few times. In all cases, it was as said above....the shanked-setscrew had vibrated loose from the transmission rear drive cup and was gone. Use Threadlocker (Loctite blue) and make sure it is very tight.

You can check. Turn truck upside down and rotote spur gear. If transmission front drive cup rotates, but rear one doesn't, then that little shanked setscrew is proabably missing.

Go to this link:

Check out Page 37. Part that may be missing is 86094
