Hpi Savage
I have an HPI Savage that’s sat for the last 5 yrs I want to get her up and running again the only prob is aside from the start up shut down procedure, and general maintenance I’ve never done anything else with the truck. So I’m not sure how to go about checking her out and trying to get her started after all this time, any advice will be very greatly appreciated.

Mine has been sitting for more than a decade 
I just looked at my trucks and said I should pull them out once more or sell them. I would think they would be just like keeping a carb on motorcycles running. Clean out the engine, from any settled oil build up. Pop on a fresh air filter and glow plug gas up and go!
