With out an overpull . . . the HPI pull start I just bought and installed . . . failed after about 5 pulls.
I didn't overpull . . . the glue that simply held the string in place inside the coil box . . . let loose and the string came out.
I put my roto back on.

Haha I've had that happen to me before... The worst thing about pullstarts is re-winding the springs when they fail. Its possibly one of the most frustrating processes I've gone through in this hobby my first 2-3 times doing it... Expect to have a spare half hour to hour the first time with blistered fingers.
