I will let somebody else voice their opinion of Integy shocks, Integy in general...

I put a NovaRossi N528XR 8 port in my XL today and changed another front pinion out. This pinion thing is getting old! Glen

Well..

Had a little run yesterday for about 15 minutes or so, came ripping across the yard and wouldn't quite turn enough to clear the garden tool shed, small steel tube was jutting out at the corner and BAM, XL smacked it, I seen parts fly right away so Ifigured I was done.

The one thing I DON'Thave extra of is shocks, or shock oil. LHSis closed for May long weekend so it's looking like I will be putting one shock on each corner for the time being.

Surprised that nothing else broke though!

As far as Integy shocks go, the MSR8's are OK , they are the same size as big bores. The MSR5's will have you wishing you didn't spend 36 cents on them.

Ebay Items:390051679250 and370201056400 from seller Jennys RCsport. Igot both pairs for 34$ shipped to my door USPSpriority.

Here is where I got the mounting kit.

You also need to run the old savage lower a-arms for the dual mounting for shocks, and I also bought these

Default RE: What did you do to your Savage today?

So today I had to replace the hubs on the front tires of my savvy as well as the pins as I lost a tire while driving yesterday and the hub and pin are on there own now. Luckily my LHS had a hub and pin kit in stock. Also found out the LHS is closing as of Saturday. What a drag, now I gotta make at least an hour trip to get anything from the nearest hobbytown. Going to go raid there XL and Hyper 9 parts on friday, might as well stock up on stuff at 30-50% off !!! So I replaced the hubs and took er out for some fun on the baseball diamond. Ran about a tank and my throttle mix arm lost the nut that holds on the ball for the throttle arm. Thats like the fifth time and im out of the nitd so I put the savvy away and ran my hyper 9 for a while. I will say that my 370 oz jr steering servo makes my savvy steer real nice but makes the hyper 9 do accidental u turns. WOW. Got home and ordered a golden horizons throttle mixture arm to replace the plastic one, got a good deal on 3 ofna glow plugs, and got a GH aluminum servo horn so I can re-do the ofna throttle mod.

last night...7pm

I got bored so I cleaned up the X really good, it was caked with dirt from the last run. I dropped the suspension from the highest to all the way down and took out the shock spacers. took the stock muddy GT2 tires and wheels off and put on some clean Bowtie 40s. Also changed the body from the stock blue one to an all white Chevy Blazer body(newly painted).

Last night.....10pm

wife comes storming in the room "so, I didnt know you were gonna get another truck before we even paid the bills" while angrily throwing a pillow at me..... So, we go back and forth about the "new truck" until I thought it was magic and started to believe her ( I was sleepy). So i went in there and spent 10 minutes trying to explain how the same truck looked so different. She didnt believe me(hands on her hips) till i showed her the sealant on the carb and the scratches on the head. Geez!!!!

Change my Savage = pillow to the face, an attitude and lost sleep time.

Two things you do not do to ThunderbirdJunkie.

#1-You DONOT tell him what to do
#2-You DO NOT misquote him.
