My Savage Broke... but my Mugen ran! video!
My Savage did a cartwheel off of the hump on the other side of the ditch in the video and broke an upright, it was done, but I managed to burn well over a quarter gallon of fuel in my Mugen! That Picco Tib did for my Savage literally blows the tires off of my Mugen! It was fun and nothing broke, except a tire or two that were ripped from the wheel. In spite of my uncanny ability to do cartwheels and hit trees.... posts... even the side of my geowagon! Ahhhhh.....letthe good times roll... Glen

I dont see what the problem was either. That thing was flat ripping, So, to show the power of the motor and the RPM what else can you do? I am at a loss about that one now, I did see some cool stuff, it takes a lot to upset the Mugen but when you do it tumbles just like an XL!!!

I've seen another one of his vids where he's doing 64 mph in a speed run then pulling wheelies off idle running pretty richdrivingthe samerevo.

Granted, all of my Savage chassies have lots of fuel and run time and with good power, but it seems like everytime I go out, something breaks in one of them, or all of them. It is never anything huge and I always seem to have the parts, except transmission stuff..... The basic truck is tough as nails, it is just always popping an upright, turnbuckle, pinion... but again, I usually burn a gallon a week this time of year. I broke one lower hinge pin on my Mugen, hit a steel pipe set in concrete. Glen

Damn Glen, these videos kill me. I've got a Firestorm and I've been watching the Savage forums for a while wanting one, but every time I see this buggy of yours I think I want one of these more than the Savage. Can't make up my mind

I think there is a huge difference between Truggy and a monster truck. With a truggy you get speed, controlabiliy and durability that is unparralelled. In a monster truckyou geta grossly over powered on the brink of out of control with wheelies and cartwheels.
It all depends on what you are looking to do.

I pretty much just play around in the grass and in parking lots, not many jumps or anything. There's a track by my moms house so that's why I kinda wanted a truggy more than a monster truck.

That would be a truggy owner's paradise, you can do about anything imaginable with a truggy on that kind of surface. The Savage is like a big clumsy clown, not good for a lot, but a load of fun to mess with! The truggy is definitely the race machine.
I remember when I thought Savages were pretty tough, I think the number of parts I have not borken on one are getting pretty limited. I have not blown any of the gears in the top of the transmission yet or destroyed the lower transmission shaft. I have not ruined an XL outer axle and I have not ruined a skid plate yet. I think that is about it.
I have broken one hinge pin on my Mugens and ground the back of the chassis plate thin, that is it so far. The chassis plate was 35 dollars, a complete set of pins was 10 dollars.
