RE: harder to start when hot????????
It might help, but I doubt it. If yours is like mine, when it gets hot or warm, the carburetor is not insulated and boils the fuel back, when it dies or runs out of fuel. Look at the fuel line going into the carburetor and I will bet you see air bubbles. I just carry a foot or three of fuel line, unhook at the tank lid and prime with the long line, then plug the 053 back in. Glen

I can't prime it blowing in the pressure line, because the line is way too hot[X(]
I've did exactly what you say, take a spare fuel line and prime it with them, et voila!!!!! the engine start like a charme!
Thank you

RE: harder to start when hot????????
ahhh, nice, so I'm not crazy. I've noticed this with mine as well. It starts on the first pull when cold, but when it is warm it takes some cranking, probably because it doesn't have enough fuel.
Get some spare fuel tubing, take off the fuel tubing that is on the fuel tank cap, put on your spare fuel tubing, blow until you see fuel in the other tubing hit the carburetor.

RE: harder to start when hot????????
This is called vapor lock or flaming out, generally when the engine is ran really hot (but not always) and it dies because the fuel boils. It is hard to start because the engine was soo hot and the fuel boiled once it hit the carb. Genious idea for composite/plastic body carbs rather than aluminum. You can get a can of co2 and spray the carb off with it and that will cool it down fast. Thats what I heard at least some people do.
