Default E-Savage will not go forward using throttle trigger

OK folks, I thought this was going to be easy but no such luck.

My E-Savage will not move forward using the trigger on the transmitter. It WILL move forward just fineusing the throttle trim control.

No problem I thought, it has to be a transmitter trigger related problem since it moves forward fine with the TH trim control.

Replaced transmitter, nope not that! Then I replaced the receiver and nope. ThenI replacedthecrystals and still not fixed. Savage will still not move forward with the transmitter trigger. Goes in reverse and steers fine.

Any help is appreciated.

Banjo

What does the truck do if you lift it off the floor and give it throttle?

Just out of curiosity, have you ever programmed the speed control?

Try reprogramming it and see what it does.

If you lift it off the floor and give it throttle, it does the same thing as on the ground, (which I failed to mention). When applying the trigger throttle, the truck just "jumps" ever so briefly, but not enough to make it move forward. Same thing in the air. It's like the drivetrain engages and then immeditly the thing shuts down. But again, it will go forward fine using the throttle trim!

I have never programmed the ESCand do not know how.

This is a box stock E-Savage, very lightly used and about a year old - maybe two. I looked around the manual and do not see how to program the ESC. Can you give me a clue?

Don't have experience with that one, have you checked the online manual that HPI has?
