i have savage xl trying to find out about where to get the kit and how much it is and if its worth doing

Search for LST in this forum and you'll find plenty of information and forum posts concerning the LST shocks.

lol, I just tried to do a search in this forum for LST and all I got was this thread [&:].

New era and RC innovations both make a kit. Back in the day you needed savage 25 lower arms to make it fit but I think they figured out a kit for the newer models. As for the shocks, ebay is your best bet. LST, LST2, aftershock... any of the LST's or its variants will have shocks that work.

I have done this mod to one of my trucks and absolutely love not only the look but the increase in shock performance. Much smoother and better absorption action.

If you want you can buy ThunderbirdJunkie's whole Aftershock roller so you can have the shocks
