Default Is this a desighn flaw?

Ok so I was on my lunch break at work bashing my Savage when I took a relatively small jump (in terms of hight) at WOT and before it landed it flew about 20 feet. It landed on the bumper and started to cartwheel for about another 15 feet or so. Well this was the end result.

The shaft that holds the upper suspension arm slid out. My question is how can a prevent that from happening again?

I think most folks zip tie the two bumper supports together.

I was thinking about the zip ties . Cool. I was also able to fond the shaft in the middle of the street near the spot I was running at.

yeah it's a flaw with the new x style bumper braces most just solve the problem by zip tieing both the braces together

Just realized I spelled design wrong in the title. Anyways, bends? Where? The truck seems fine and the bumper supports are zip tied an ready to go for tomorrow. If I missed something let me know.

If you can find some, get some bumper arms from the earlier model savage. They will fit without any mods or anything and dont have that flaw. Why they changed it still beats me.

if you buy the genuine hpi anti roll bar kit it comes with cool screw on covers which stop this from happening but i found it best to cut the lugs off the original bumper so it fitted right afterwards
