Default Ofna throttle mod?

i know its been posted many times,but still i don't get it. whats the benefit of the ofna throttle mod? is it just for looks? whats wrong with the stock throttle set up?

did you not read your own link on what you post ?the guy said increase your brake efficency way better!!!!!
its not like you need to hit the throttle any different. its the braking that is the sore spot on the savage

It improves brake and throttle response. The stock setup is junk.

putting a piece of fuel piping in place on the rod instead of the spring at the thumb nut makes a huge improved difference in braking

That and it gets rid of the spring on the servo horn. So your servo has more effort to apply to the brake lever, instead of trying to pull the carb clear off the engine.
