Default Anyone know if Savage X engine plate can be mounted on Flux plates?

I'm thinking about installing Flux plates (HPI100902), but I want to use the Savage X engine plate (HPI86069). Does anyone know if those two are compatible? I ordered a motor mount that fits the X engine plate, so I don't want to buy the Flux motor plate and motor mount.

Not really. The mount braces are in a different location; you'd have to drill some new holes in the Flux TVP to mount it. Or perhaps drill some new holes in the plate, but looking at it the rear brace for the Flux is basically in the same location as the rear bolt holes for the nitro engine but its off slightly.

Which mount did you get?

Here's a pic of them side by side; one on the left is the Flux the one on the right is the X

Thanks for the pic. I purchased an Ebay motor mount:

It's the only one I could find that fits and has the LCG motor position.
