Default Questions regarding dynamite 086

Hi guys, finally got around to installing my dynamite 086 pipe on my stock savage x 4.6 The truck runs really well and has excellent top end, however it does seem to have lost some bottom end punch. I am aware this pipe is made to increase top end performance but does this mean I get worse low end than with the stock pipe? I thought it should be more or less the same. The trucks screams on the top and is running better, cooler, which is great. Maybe I should consider leaning out the LSN? Any thoughts? Or is this just whats was supposed to happen? I can live with it but... I would like to still get some wheelies, which is not happening at the moment... thanks!

you will have to adjust the settings on your engine when changing your pipe

The 086 delivers quite a bit more fuel pressure than the stock pipe, so I am going to guess that you are too rich. It is hard to say you need a full turn or half turn without hearing it run. Just make you adjustments small and you can always back up. Here is a great tuning video from our friends at Hpi! Glen

and i would keep and eye on your temps too but also ask those who have the same engine and pipe combo, what temps they are normally running.

temp gauge is a good thing to have.
