Savage X steering servo upgrade
I'm looking at upgrading the steering servo on my Savage X as the stock one is very weak. I have found numerous different servos that seem like they would do the job just fine coupled with a 6v receiver hump pack. I have the factory HPI TF-3 digital transmitter, which will have a get me by until I can get a Futaba 3PM series in a month or so.My main concern is will the stock radio that came with the truck work with a aftermarket servo?
Here is a couple of the servos I'm looking at.

They should work fine. Receiver and transmitter have to match but I have ran JR racing servos with an HPI stock set up. they try to use a univertsal end.

if you can the last one or the second to last is what i'd get if i were to buy one and i could afford it, but i have the first, and its been pretty good a bit slow but i don't really mind i'm not throwing the wheels around that much to notice it but deff get a RX pack

I run the CS170 in mine. It is super strong and fairly quick for having 333 in oz of torque. That is the one I would get. I also run mine with an aluminum servo horn with no plastic adaptor.
