Default Hpi drive gear stripped

Well my homemade burshless conversion on 5s,has managed to strip the drive gear in the tranny (the gear that is connected to the spur gear shaft,on the inside of the tranny). The tranny is already one speed as i bought that hpi conversion. So i am wondering if their are any other gears that are stronger out their?

Ok great,i ended pu buying one.Npow to keep any other drive train parts from breaking(i also already have had a dogbone snap at the ball part),i have the stock savage x ss diffs. If i put oil in them instead of the grease, would their be less chance of them giving out. Also seeing that i bash, and go to the track here and there, what diff oil would be recomended?
