Airtronics 94358. Going to put an ebayed SF5 in the "new" truck for super cheapness.
PBM, what model servo do you have in your truck?

Iran the HPI SF-5 for a while, about 10-11 gal, itwas OK,then it finally broke. That was in my Sav XL with Terra-pin tires. I see the SF-50 on sale on ebay for about $40, that's pretty decent. If you're willing to spend more, you can get the Hitec 7955TG, thats one of the best. 333oz/in of torque.I think the SF-50 is like 160-170oz/in or somewhere around there.

I just burned out one of those cheap servos yesterday. I bought it on ebay for about $30. It only lasted about 45min running time then it was DONE. They claim to be all metal gears and durable but I think NOT. I wouldn't bother with that PeeBeMe. Get something branded, proven like Hitec, Futaba or even HPI, it will be worth it in the long run!

really? 45 minutes? That blows. Well guess I'll have a chance to test it when my HiTec fails...or I may just put it in my throttle and take the SF1 out. Oh well, Iv blown much more than 30 bucks on garbage before
In that case...HiTec 645mg is a good inexpensive servo costing about 40 bucks.....its what Im running currently and hasnt been a problem.

Shenanigans... I just e-mailed the guy (cheapservoman on ebay) who sold me the off-brand servo that died and he's shipping out a replacement, no charge and no return necessary from me. That was pretty cool of him. At least his customer service is top notch.

Thats good, however a proper working servo is better The ones advertised on the rcu classifieds do come with 100% money back guarantee....so all I will be out is time if it is crap. Im optimistic though, and will give it a fair test.

I have found that with servos it's better to bite the bullet and spend as much as you have to, to get a real good servo. I had 3 servos in my rock crawler before I snapped and bought The Hitec servo in it now. I think it's like 404 oz. Cost me a fortune but I don't think I'll have to worry about it any more . I'd do the same in any of my trucks now.
