savage suspension conversion kit

I purchased a Savage suspension conversion kit and during the assembly when assembling the front hub set up i noticed that when you turn full lock the steering is limited by this lug on the knuckle arm that hits the upright and the arm screws onto the turn buckle. Has anyone noticed this and ground this off

Ill get a photo later on this afternoon so you know what im talking about

I ground it off with a dremel. Hpi put those lugs there because people kept popping out dogbones. I've never had one pop out on me.

Im pretty disapointed in HPI, they could of made to conversion kit fit better quite easily. I had to modify more bits than they listed, its been a pain in the arse.

I didnt have a problem putting mine on. It is well worth it. It handles much better. I would recomend going to single big bore shocks though.

oh ok, i have lst2 shocks, they work great for me but i had to fabricate some aluminium to fit it in, i think rc innovations make mounts for them... http://www.rcplanet.com/Losi_Assm_Sh...p/losb2879.htm
