Savage 25 to XL f4.6
 

Gday folks. I'm converting a old savage 25 with xl parts. I might post the progress here to keep the savage forum alive:D

This is my 25. Its at least 10yo and in great condition so why not hop her up for my son.

So far I have the xl chassis, gearbox, shock towers and a f4.6. My old savage gearbox has 3rd gear and reverse module which is an easy swap I think! It was a long time ago when I installed them . Next are the diffs, I will use xl housings with bullet proof centers. I might need some advice with dog bones and wheel extensions but ill cross the bridge when i come to it.
Forgot to mention I have 17mm hex nut to..

How many 25 parts are you keeping? I also have a 25 RTR, looked at bringing it up to date, and just bought a used 4.6/XL instead lol
