Need help finding correct spur gear
So I got this HPI nitro truck in a trade, guy tells me that it's a HPI RS4-MT Nitro has .15 motor that I upgraded to the new HPI 3.0 motor. Well the motor was too much for the spur gear and tore it up. I looked high and low but no luck, a good friend of mines at the LHS said they're discontinued but my search found the RS4-MT nitro with a totally different transmission/spur gear. Anyone know if this is the original tranny/spur for this truck? Any and all suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated, thanx in advance

This is the spur gear for HPI RS4-MT: http://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/6996 which is a 96 tooth gear. Check if yours is marked with 96T, if it is any different, you might have a different kit.
