Aftermarket tires for HPI E-firestorm flux?
 

So I've read conflicting information all over the web on this subject:

I've gotten the impression that HPI's 12mm hexes are somehow different from other brands, therefore you can't just buy some pro-lines or other aftermarket tires, and throw them on. Is this correct? I'd like to get something more aggressive but close to the size of the stock ones. Thanks in advance!

I've had no issues with rims from other brands, its been awhile since i raced and bought new tires but i usually like hpi rims better and just mount whatever tires suit the track. I got about 6 sets for racing or bashing.

Just get some 2.2 tires and they will fit.
