Aerofly 5.7.1.1

I am running bootcamp with my macbook pro, 2010, geforce 9600m, with 8gig ram.
I installed 5.5 and upgraded to 5.7
My fps were initially 130-150
After the upgrade to 5.7, it went down to 20 fps.
I unloaded some start up items, and Iwas able to get it in the 100 range.
After a crash, the fps go down to 70.
After another crash, the fps go down to 40.
I know, I should not crash.
But it seems the program crashes when after I crash.
Suggestions please.
