After posting on another thread I was told to start a new thread -


I bought the download version of the upgrade AFPD>Aerofly5.7

Been downloading for 36 hours now (yep Australian broadband sucks big time) and have a 10MB+ zip file and it it is still downloading.

How big should this file be - the mail I got indicated that the file is +-8MB.

I have emailed their support and not had a response yet!

I thought it was over 8 GIGABYTES not megabytes.

The DVD version comes on two DVD's.

Oops yes you are correct - I've changed my original post to GB. I'd downloaded over 11Gb and it still was not complete.

Hi Rory,

I'll have to check what the actual download file size is. It will take a very long time (even days) if your internet speed is low. If you continue to have a downloading problem, I will see if I can arrange for a set of DVDs to be sent to you. Let me know.

Thanks for that. My problem is that I downloaded 11Gb and it was still downloading. The mail I received at purchase indicated about 8gb

Awesome & thanks. Ikarus have been really good ...their download manager site (Shareit) have been hopeless.

I'll have another go at downloading tonight. I often buy software (photographic editing applications that are pretty big) on line and dont usually have a problem.

Was hoping to play with my upgrade over the holiday break but it will be good to have the disks.

Delivery USA to Australia Post 3 days, Australia Post to my house 2+ weeks which is why I buy on line if I can
