Problem with Aerofly Pro,
hi,
I reacently bought myself AeroFly Pro and a Futaba 6EXA Radio Set. I firstly installed it on my laptop, using a usb to serial converter as my laptop has no serial port, and it worked fine. Now i want to use it on my desktop i cant []. Ive installed it and it installs fine, but when i go to run it it starts fine but then it pops a box up saying searching interface, and it locks up, ive tried it using my serial port on my motherboard and with the usb to serial converter i uesd on my laptop, and there is no difference between what happens.
Could anyone give me an idea on whats happening and what i can do to fix it????
Regards
Chaz

RE: Problem with Aerofly Pro,
Did you install Disc 1, Expansion Pack and the Patch.
Obviously it's a local issue and not the cable or AFP. You need to troubleshoot your serial port.

RE: Problem with Aerofly Pro,
Hi,
I was having a similar problem for awhile, one thing I did that seemed to help was to open the control panel,
then Open the Game Controllers, I then calibrated the controller, or at least made sure it was recognized.
Then I did not close the window.
With the window open, I returned to AFP and checked to verify that the controller was recognized.
Once it was recognized I flew and saved the settings.
Later after restarting my system the problem may have gone away.
Additionally I once went into safe mode and removed all duplicate listings found
(leaving none that had a duplicate behind) in device manager,
When under Win98 I deleted:
drvdata.bin and drvidx.bin
Then restarted the computer, This allows Win98 to reconfigure the hardware & drivers correctly.
