Got AFPD up and running on Laptop
Well finally got the thing the other day I went in for surgery.
Wife loved it when I was waking up from it and had
to ask "What is the package you got today".
It is running great on my laptop
here are the Specifications:
Toshiba 5205-S703
2-GHz P4-M, 512MB RAM
GeForce4 460 Go graphics chip set.
The only issue that I have had so far is that I have tried
one of my radios a JRXF421 and it has a glitch when I go
to full elevator up the throttle cuts out and it rolls to oneside.
I will have to try my quattro and 8103 to see if it the radio or
the interface. I did to a calibration and it does also at that time
or if I'm looking at the properties screen. So just one thing to
check. After reviewing the fourms I found out how to activate
and use the G2 controller I already have and played with it tonight.
Here are a few screen shoots that show my frame rates which I think
are acceptable on this laptop. One of them is the simple graphics settings
from the main menu.

jgraham10 i had the same glitche on my xf631 and found out if i went the oppisite way on the trim a few clicks it would stop. so what i did was go back to setup and add in the extra clicks when centering and resetting and it came out centered and no more glitches.!!!!!
good luck and hope this helps!

RE: Got AFPD up and running on Laptop
Gjeffers,
Thanks for the info I will give it a try when I have a chance.
MSP,
On this laptop the screen size is a 15 inch monitor with a reselution ability of 1600x1200 but I run the system
at 1280x1024 and the game at 1024X768 I could run it to the same res as what I nomaly use but it looked really
good at the 1024X768 res that I did not think of going higher. Might have to try 1280X1024.
