Default AFPD WILL NOT WORK AT ALL

PLEASE HELP
Just purchased AFPD. Loaded CD and Patch 18017. Blue & yellow banner appears and then everything locks up.
PC is MS Windows XP Home with 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
Pentium 4 processor 1.8 GHz
Mainboard Micro Star MS-6398E
512 MB memory
MSI GeForce4 MX460 (NVIDIA GeForce4 MX460) video Card - 64MB RAM
Realtek AC97 Soundcard
Can someone please help?

Default RE: AFPD WILL NOT WORK AT ALL

Update !!
Downloaded latest NVIDIA drivers, now at least the title screen comes up with the following problems:-

Warning: No Open GL or Graphics Card Driver Found - Displayed in Top RH corner in RED when Title Menu appears
Searching Interface ..... Please Wait displayed in a window (have to close this window first to exit).

I downloaded and installed the latest NVIDIA update with Direct-X 9.0c, do I need to activate Open GL somewhere??

Nearly there, getting closer to working.

Can anyone help?

Is your card Open GL compatible?

Should say in the manual.

I did a search for his card and it looks like it is openGL. Jef, do you play any games like quake or unreal, or any openGL games? If you do then its not the openGL. And where did you D/L the drivers from. I would try and get them straight from www.nvidia.com . The have a more updated list of drivers then MSI.

Thanks for your suggestions guys, it is now working. My NVIDIA display drivers were version 4/7/2004 5.6.7.3 and despite the fact that they were Open GL compatible, I went to the NVIDIA website and installed the latest 10/29/2004 6.6.9.3 drivers and all is well. AFPD seems to be fairly fussy about video drivers...
