I have a few airplanes with .wav files- like chip hydes double vision, and many others, but the most frustrating is with the new 50% Edge 540 from Doc Insane.... FLying silent is OK, but kinda lame at the same time.

I was going to try to "steal" the sound files from another plane, but the ones with sound that works there are no .WAV files, but TMG files etc... I dont know what to do here- most .WAV files are automatically converted to Itunes, or Winamp files when I unzip them- could this be the problem?

Any suggestions?

you need to copy those wav files come with the plane to the 'sound' folder
