areofly doesn't work
The thing won't see the transmitter, I am using the usb plug with a futaba conquest 6 ch. pluged into the supplied wires.
The program loads ok, when you try to fly the airplane it crashes and won't to the tramsmitter at all.
My realflight worked from day one and still does except I want to practice 3D flying and the G2 doesn't get it.
My computer isn't the problem as far as memory and graghics (1024 MB ram and radion 9800 pro card w/ 1.8 ghz pentium 4 processor.
Any Ideas??????????????????????????[&o][&o][&o][&o][&o]

Goto ATI.com and update the Catalyst drivers, then report back.

Not trying to be patronising, but you have gone into the controller calibration screen within the Sim and setup your Transmitter.
Have you switched the Transmitter on, some need to be.

RE: areofly doesn't work
an important point with my using aero fly pro was that I had to unplug any joysticks that were connected to the computer so that the program would not be confused by which joystick I was telling the program to use in the setup or program configuration. It took me awhile before I recognized the problem and told the computer to use the proper joystick. On my version I had to reassign some of the channels to the proper sticks.but it was worth the effort

To enable your smoke:
1. Make sure you have assigned a Tx switch in the control menu
2. Calibrate the Tx switch - neutral (switch is in smoke off position) and max travel (smoke switch is in smoke on position)
3. In the flying view, under the graphics menu, enable smoke
If you need more smoke, you can set the smoke level under graphics options. You will also need a better video card for smoke. Which video card are you using?
Under View 1, you can select "recorded flight" in the fixed, follow or cockpit mode depending on whether you used a 3D scenery or panoramic scenery. This will give you the original recording view
