i have read the previous post and it looks like either comp will run the sim fine. would like som reassurance before i buy the thing however.

You will need to purchase a video card for those systems. Integrated video chipsets like Intel Extreme Graphics on the 845G aren't supported and won't give you acceptable results.

Mark hit it right on the head. The video card is one of the MOST important aspects of the system for this software.
