Thankx for the info. SOme of the planes pretty much load themselves but the ziped files don't seem to load in the flight sim after unzipping. I am prob missing a step or two on those planes. Hoping to get the Stuka to work. Fast...[8D]

The Docinsane website is down. Can someone send me these models? I had the QQ yaks in my other computer and liked flying it best. I'd also like the Edge and the Votec. Thanks for the help.

You could try sending him an email to request those aircraft files

Has anyone else been having trouble registering with RCsim.de? I am not receiving the registration email (multiple tries), verified it is not being blocked, etc.. Also sent email to admin, but no reply..

I am really hoping to get some the of QQ aircraft files if anyone has them..

Hi Everyone.

Can someone please tell me what this plane is, it looks like a Midget Mustang but I'm not sure...

Thank you.

I've never heard of a Ballerina so I didnt know if that was the nickname or the offical plane type/model.

Although the Docinsane site seems to be offline and not functioning like it once was - the files are still accessible. Try going to this site - he still has various movies and AFPD downloads available:
http://www.docinsane.com/opendirs.html

I particularly appreciated the Woudt scenery; there don't seem to be any collision points, but the perspective is correct and he has several takeoff points in it, which is better than the version I created for myself using a delfland panorama and the AFPD Import Wizard.

Hi, I am really enjoying downloading some of these new planes however I do not have a lot of available extra space. My question is how do I , or can I, get rid of some of the planes that came with my AFPD, which would make room for some of the others I would like to download? Any one have a step by step type of answer? Thank you
Steve

Steve, what you need to do is go into the "aircraft" folder in the AFPD directory and delete whichever model folder that you don't need. I sugest that you back up these model folders in a thumb drive or floppy disk just in case you need them again in the future.

Thank you Rajul, another quick question. When I am in "Follow Aircraft" mode, I am now getting some twitchiness to the screen, almost like a stutter. I donot remember this when I first installed AFPD. Does this sound like a video card issue? Its a Nvidea GE Force 6200. I'm using a Pentium (R) 4 CPU 1300MHz, 1.30GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM. Hope all of that may help.

Kinda hard to visualize what you're saying. Is the aircraft twitching or the whole display?

Its more of a jerky type motion. As I am following the aircraft it will jerk back towards me real quick, fly normal, then jerk backwards , fly normal, etc. Also it is the whole display, not just the aircraft. Any thoughts.

Youshould check and disable any programs running in the background. Often this can be caused by email send/receive operation, spywares/adwares, and possibly viruses/malware. You might want to scan for these.

Hi Peter, do a search in the websites mentioned in the first post of this thread and I'm sure you'll find some.

I downloaded some Helis from RC Sims http://www.rc-sim.de/cms/index.php/en and the Bell222B 90 does not have anyu rotor sound although it has the "crash" sound when it crashes. I looked in the file and it has 2 .wav files that I can play with WMP but IPACS will not play them for some reason.

The Trex 500 crashes my IPACS when I try to load it.

All other helis I have downloaded from the site work great.

Why???
