RE: Free AFP and AFPD models and sceneries!
Hi,
there are also some not-so-easy-to-find model and scenery resources on the net:
[ul][*] [link=http://www.rokiss.ch/index.html]ROKI's site[/link][*] [link=http://www.kellerjuergen.de/]Jürgen Keller's site (excellent models!!)[/link][*] [link=http://www.docinsane.com/home/]Maarten DeMoor's site (see 'Downloads')[/link]
[/ul]
And not to forget [link=http://www.szenerie-design.de/Seiten/home.htm]Szenerie-Design.de[/link]. It is commercial, but the szeneries are verry affordable.
Cheers,

I cannot seem to get anywhere with any of these sites. Log-in is a must and I do not have the correct log-in data. To re-registor seems impossible. Please explain the easy ...no BS way. I would like to enjoy some of the promised downloads...but it just won,t work. Even when on my screen it says your download was completed. It still does not show up in AeroflyPro. [:@][:@][:@]

The model was a Extreme 330...I have AFPD...no add-ons. I do not remember what site. I think only one site may have the red & white Extreme 330. Capt,n

RE: Free AFP and AFPD models and sceneries!
Captin, did you place the extreme 330 folder in the aircraft folder of AFPD? The aircraft folder is located here: c drive, program files, ipacs, afpd, aircraft. Some models may not have been designed for AFPD, so if you can remember which site it came from it will be helpful. Anyway, let's give it a try

Hi captin, please let me know the answers to these questions:
1) Did you copy the Extreme 330 folder into the "Aircraft" folder as mentioned above? C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\aircraft
2) Did you install AFPD add-on 1 or 2 (starflight)? These are not necessary to run the downloaded model, but model configuration issues may arise, which can be resolved by a simple file edit
Let me know

RE: Free AFP and AFPD models and sceneries!
Captinjohn,
this is obviously a model from my site.
I remember, we had this discussion already a year ago.
And I remember, there was a video tutorial from Dion, which demonstrated this installation.
Ok, another short description:
You have to create a folder in your aircraft directory with EXACTLY this name: \rExtreme
(Your aicraft folder is most probably C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\aircraft)
This is the result:
C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\aircraft\rExtreme
Then unzip the file rExtreme.zip into this directory, that's it.
I can accept, that you don't know how to do this.
But there must be a PC guy in your area. So please ask him to do it for you.
Regards
Karl-Heinz (Rodeo)

RE: Free AFP and AFPD models and sceneries!
Have you done a search for pattern planes in the free download sites listed above? There's also a pattern grid to add to the farmland scenery here:
http://www.rodeo.rc-sim.de/afprodelu...rodeluxe01.htm
You have to register to download the models and sceneries.
In addition, the Adrenaline is available in Starflight add-on

RE: Free AFP and AFPD models and sceneries!
Hey rajul,
Had my AFPD for about a month and love it, what a blast! Could you explain to me how to do the set up for two pilots to fly on the same sceen. Do I need two USB cables or a y harness? Do I have to go into controls to set up the second radio? Anxious to fly (show off) with my fly buddies, this is a great sim!

RE: Free AFP and AFPD models and sceneries!
Hi mstcitabria, for two-player mode, you will need to get a usb slave cable http://www.ikarus-modellbau.de/onlin...08251.38233896 or a dummy usb game commander http://www.ikarus-modellbau.de/onlin...945a3.39962507 You will need to plug in the original usb cable for either of these to work. Setup and calibrate the second radio or GC, and you're all set. Instructions for two-player mode are on pages 34-35 of your manual.

Alma, I think you are correct. I have confirmed that the parameters used in the tmd file are directly copied from yours. I will have the link removed. Thanks for highlighting this. In the meantime, keep up the good work!
