Default Problems with AFPD

Hi, I am experiencing some problems with my AFPD simulator.

It has been running fine up till now, but for some reason the ailerons will not trim out properly, by this I mean I can calibrate them and its fine but when testing them on a model I put left in and the right aileron rises a little bit first then the left aileron goes up which is correct and the same happens for when I do this with right aileron.
This means during flight the ailerons can never be trimmed properly and doing a slow roll properly is impossible as the plane rolls right first for a left roll and then proceeds to roll left!

Can somebody please help!

Graham

Hi Graham, are you using your own radio or the game commander? Which model did you test on? Do you experience this problem with all models or certain models only?

I use my AFPD w Game commander almost every day. I've worn out 3 of them on the aileron channel. Suggest you send it off for service.

Graham, did you center the trims on the game commander before the calibration?

Graham, looks like the pots in the game commander is faulty. You have two options i.e. to send it in for repair or replacement OR to use your own Tx, which I recommend as you get to use the Tx program mixes. You will need to get the usb slave cable and a suitable adapter for your Tx. In the UK, you will need to send in your GC to:

J Perkins Distribution Ltd
Northdown Business Park
Ashford Road
Lenham

UK.
