Default AFPD, all surfaces are moving randomly

Hi.
I have a problem with my AFPD.
I installed all updates and when I fly, all surfaces are moving randomly, something I didn't have as problem. I installed in another PC and everything is fine. Do you know what could cause such a problem?

Default RE: AFPD, all surfaces are moving randomly

Hi,

1) Tell me exactly what kind of hardware you have, especially 3D graphics card, CPU, and any other hardware installed, sound card etc.
2) What is the RAM size?
3) Which operating system are you using, XP or Vista? 32 bit or 64 bit?
4) Tell me exactly what drivers you installed for the 3D graphics card.
5) Which addons do you have?
6) What is the version number printed on your main AFPD disk?
7) How did you install the main disk, addons, and patch (which version?), and what was the sequence of installation?
8) Post the tm.log file which you can find in the following directory

C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe

You may open the file with a text editor like word or notepad. Just copy and paste the entire content into your post.

Hi,
Thanks for the time and knowledge!

1) Tell me exactly what kind of hardware you have, especially 3D graphics card,
CPU, and any other hardware installed, sound card etc.

Pentium Intel 4CPU 3.2Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce 7300GS

2) What is the RAM size?
1.5GB RAM

3) Which operating system are you using, XP or Vista? 32 bit or 64 bit?
XP SP3 64Bit

4) Tell me exactly what drivers you installed for the 3D graphics card.
Latest from their site

5) Which addons do you have?
I installed all addons

6) What is the version number printed on your main AFPD disk?
AFPD 1.8.0.9

7) How did you install the main disk, addons, and patch (which version?), and what was the sequence of installation?
I installed all addons, I think the right order, but please let me know how to do this and I will re install the software

8) Post the tm.log file which you can find in the following directory

Default RE: AFPD, all surfaces are moving randomly

Could you describe in more detail what you mean by "randomly" i.e. are the surfaces jittering slightly or moving with large throws?

Which radio are you using? Did you set your radio to PPM mode? What type of adapter cable are you using? Did you push all the connectors completely in?

Did you perform a calibration of your radio in AFPD? If you're using high rates, you will need to calibrate with your radio set to high rates.

Default RE: AFPD, all surfaces are moving randomly

Hi.
Yes, surfaces ae jittering slightly.
Which radio are you using?
Futaba 9 CAP
Did you set your radio to PPM mode?
Yes

What type of adapter cable are you using?
The one provided

Did you push all the connectors completely in?
Yes

Did you perform a calibration of your radio in AFPD? If you're using high rates, you will need to calibrate with your radio set to high rates.
Yes
I use this setup for 3 years with no problem. When I installed the CD only in another PC it works fine!.
Perhaps is the sequense od upgrades or my PC that causes the jittering.
Can you give me the sequence of the upgrades installation?
Thanks for you valuable help

Does the jittering go away when you don't touch the transmitter with your hands?

No, it persists

I am sure you will find the problem, but please inform me about the order of upgrades installation.

Default RE: AFPD, all surfaces are moving randomly

If you say that you've done the calibration properly, and that the other PC did not exhibit the same symptoms, it could be related to grounding of the PC. You could try to ground your radio using a long wire with crocodile clips on both ends. Hook one clip to the neck strap and the other end to a gounding point e.g the metal casing of your PC.

On the installation sequence, it should be main disks.....addon1......addon2......addon3......addo n4......addon5.....patch. If you need to uninstall and reinstall, follow the instructions at the bottom of this page http://www.aerofly.com/afpd/downloads.html
