Default About to purchase, question (futaba 7c)

I am ready to purchase this sim from tower hobbies for a mac. I am using a futaba 7c 2.4 ghz.

I will be running this on a mac. Question is they do not have the correct adapter cord in stock and it says late june on the estimated arrival. I assume the cord that comes with the software is the standard round, is it possible to just use something like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBEK8&P=0

also would this sim run on os x 10.4.11 ? That is my current os, but can upgrade if absolutely necessary.

edit: I notice tower hobbies only sells afpd, is aerofly5 the newest one out ?

scoob, you'll need OS X 10.5 and above. Pls take a look at the recommended system requirements here http://www.aerofly.com/afpd/requirements.html You can get the AFP-01 adapter cable for Futaba here http://www.fxaeromodels.com/product_...oducts_id=1658 Yes, AF5 is the latest but it is not available in the US yet, so you'll have to get it directly from Ikarus Germany. You can get more details on AF5 here http://www.aerofly.com/index.html
