Manuel, did you set your radio to PPM mode? Pls post a photo(s) showing the cable connections between your PC and the radio.

Mike,
Im looking at the manual and on that ppm setting, is that on the 2.4 dedicated only 12x tx ? or is it on the other older 12 x that has the 72 mhz also?
Thanks again
Manuel

Are you using the 2.4GHz or 72MHz version? If it is the 2.4GHz version, there is nothing to set in the radio. If it is the 72MHz version, pls check your manual on how to set PPM mode. In either case, pls disable the trainer mode.

Pls also follow the attached connection diagram.

You could also use the AFP-02 adapter which is lower in cost http://www.fxaeromodels.com/product_...oducts_id=1659

Yes, the output from the trainer port of the 2.4 is in PPM by default.

Ok. Mike I got the cable, it works now with my DX-7 but wont work with my 12X. On the DX7 it show 7 channels right away, on the 12 x it never stops scanning channels.
That really doesnt worry me anymore, Im fine with the DX7. My main problem now is that I cant set up the heli mode. I fine that there are many functions that cannot be used on a Mac. And this package does not bring a Ikarus Mac version manual. I cant get every channel to work the swash plate the right way. Any secret to this set up?
thanks again for all your help.
Manuel

Hi Manual, I do not have access to a 12x radio to test it out. I would suggest that you post a question in the JR/Spektrum support forum to get an idea how to set it up for a flight sim http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_116/tt.htm I would be interested to find out myself.

Have you installed the latest patch 1.11.7.31?

You should be able to find the softcopy of the instruction manual in the AFPD main directory. Pls go through the setup and calibration procedures.
