Default AFP issues on a newer machine

I was running AFP for years on an older machine and it was fine.
The machine crashed and I upgraded to a newer machine and now have
some issues running the sim.

This machine is only used for the sim, and does not access the internet,
or have antivirus or spyware running.

The sim will load, find the transmitter and start to fly.
Shortly after flying the following things happen;

1. Sometimes the monitor will go blank and it says, "Input signal out of range"
At that point the machine is locked up and needs to be restarted.

2. Sometimes it will say, Unexpected_Kernel_Mode_Trap and then "Dumping physical memory to disk."

This machine is better than the last, but something is amiss.
Here are the specs;

Windows 2000 V5 SP4
Pentium 4 3 Gig processor
Video card is a GForce 6600/PCI/SSE2 V 2.0.3 32bit as shown in the .tm log
Sound is Realtek Hi Definition Audio
Ram is 1 Gig
AFP Version is 1.6.8.6
Transmitter is JR 9503

Thanks for any ideas
Bob

Bob, it looks to be either bad drivers or a hardware problem. I don't have any installed AFP now to help in the diagnosis as this is an old software. I would suggest that you upgrade to an AFPD.

I wouldn't mind doing that if you think the specs on the machine including the video and sound information would
liely run Deluxe?

Waddya think?

Thanks for the reply

Bob, you can check the minimum and recommended requirements here http://www.aerofly.com/afpd/requirements.html

Bob, if you're interested in the upgrade, you would have to get it directly from Ikarus Germany. You could also look around for pre-owned AFPD in the marketplace.
