application crash
 
Only had AFPD loaded on my MAC for a few days now and really been playing it to death....!

but as of a few hours ago the programme keeps crashing....?

a box pops up saying that the application has unexpectantly quit and the quit infomation has been sent to apple....

to options i get are QUIT OR REOPEN APPLICATION

when i reopen all seems fine, everything loads it "see's" the transmitter (DX6i) and then i am taken to the main menu

its not untill i hit the "fly" button then it all crashes again.....? confused.com.....!!

What is the version number printed on your disk? Did you install any patch? Please post the tm.log file which you can find in the main AFPD directory. You may open the file with a text editor. Just copy and paste the entire content into your post.

Did you make any changes to your mac system, or installed any new software/application/hardware, before the problem occurred? It was running fine previously as noted.

no nothing has changed..... AFPD was working fine since you fixed the registration problem i had before.

have used the programme without any problems for about 6-8 hours over two days changing from all sorts of aircraft and different scenery.

have tried going to an aircraft and scenery combination that i have used successfully before but that didn't work....?

there is an apple report that comes up when the programme crashes would you like me to PM that to you...?

I think you could try to do a complete uninstall and reinstall. You can activate and reactivate using the new key without any problems. Yes, it could be something to do with the installation of the other models, could be that they are not compatible with mac afpd or the installation caused a program corruption. If you could give me the link to these models, I could check

It can be complicated, so a full uninstall/reinstall is easier

All working again....has stopped once or twice in 2 hours of running but at least it's working for now.

i could not find an uninstaller for the programme so i just dragged and dropped into the trash can....

i had to have 2 trys at installing as the first time the programme wouldn't even open....?

do you know if there is an upcoming patch for these glitches...? or would upgrading to 5.5 be any help...?

Pls install the latest 1.11.7.31 patch for mac afpd http://www.aerofly.com/afpd/downloads.html

You might also want to check if your computer system has adequate cooling as an overheated videocard can result in crashes as well

yep did the patch update already....

cooling is good on the Mac.... never had an issue before with overheating....
