A5 and Crossfire

Mike - With A5, is there any advantage to using two Raedon HD6870 cards in the Crossfire configuration in a W7 64bit machine with I7 processor and 8Gb DDR3 Ram?

Rich, that's really an overkill for AF5. The specs you showed are really for high-end gaming.

OK!! In general, if someone has the minimum acceptable video card and has the choice of either adding a second card, in the Crossfire Configuration, or purchasing just one higher end card, what are the pluses and minuses of doing either?

Is A5 compatible with either Crossfire or SLI? I have read that some applications are not and you may not know until you try it or ask ahead of time.

AF5 should have no problems with Crossfire or SLI, but it will depend on the driver
