Default Electric Power suggestion for 22% Yak

Thinking about a Hacker A50-14L on 8S w/ 18x10 prop.

Any other suggestions? I know that's a common 3D setup, but I fly more IMAC/Pattern than 3D.

Thanks.

Hi Joe... You may get more response re electrics in IMAC if you ask the question here:

You do not need to be a member to access the forum. To post in there you will have to register on the website, but you do not need to join IMAC as a member.
Hope you get some help there.

I would tend to think that just about any of the new 30cc airplanes outfitted with a typical F3A setup would work well. Look at a Himax 6330/200 or 6330/210 motor 10S 5000 mah batteries and a CC 85HV. It's the setup I have in my 2M Laser and at 11 lbs has good power. For 3D you may want to stay closer to 10 lbs or you may find yourself going to a 12S battery.
