Default Noise on a stock BME 5.8

I have a Great Planes Extra 330L with a BME 5.8 turning a menz 26/10 and stock twin can mufflers. It seems a bit loud at full power settings. Is there some after market mufflers or headers that I can put larger cans on this stump puller?

Thanks for looking and/or replying

Default RE: Noise on a stock BME 5.8

Are you wanting to quiet it to compete in IMAC or do you have a field noise limit.

For Imac you will be under the current limit with that engine with almost any prop...........on the IMAC web site there is test results showing this.

A cheaper way to quiet the model is to put on a good three blade prop............half the cost and MUCH easier and LIGHTER.

If you want you can get all manner of cans from 3w or da or RC showcase.........you may have to ask bme about headers.........

Hope this helps
Kindest regards IanB
