I hate to tell ya this but only one of those planes are IMAC Legal and that would be the Lanier. The others are too small for IMAC

That is not true. There is NO size restriction, big or small in IMAC. Any size can compete as long as it is AMA legal (under 55lbs) and is a scale aerobatic plane (except in Basic where anything can fly).

That's only if the MINI-MAC class is used by the CD, and I've never seen it used. If combined, all sizes are legal per the [link=http://www.mini-iac.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=90]rules[/link]

Goldberg Extra... $149 at Tower. With a YS091 it would get you through Basic and Sportsman Sequences. The entire setup with all included is gonna run you a pretty penny. I would wait and go with a 33% gasser. For starters maybe the Wild Hare Edge or Extra... or Hangar 9 Edge or Extra all good choices for starters.

I have seen great performance out of a Goldberg Ultimate witha Saito 1.20. The kit is around 150.00. I don't think you will find that great of an ARF in that price range for IMAC.
I too agree it is MUCH better to wait, save, and buy a 33% or bigger plane. As a friend of mine once told me...spend your money ONCE. I wasted so much money and still ended up with a 40% airplane (or two). If I had just gone right for the larger planes I would have saved thousands.
My .02
But, Goldberg Ultimate biplane gets my vote in that price range.

thank you all for you help, i dont think i'm gonna save more money and buy something better.
i dont really like biplanes so i dont think i'll go for the ultimate.
so i think the goldberg xtra will be my choice.
if i'll be able to buy the ca model extra 24%, you would recommand it over the goldberg xtra?

Yes I would. I didnt recommend that one because it's around 180.00. I have owned the 24% CA Extra and it flew absolutely wonderful on an OS 1.60 FX. I like the CA line so much that I own a 31% and I'm building a 38%. If you can swing it, go with the CA.
Here are a couple pics of my 24% (R.I.P due to deadstick)

The Lanier Laser 200 is a kit and it's easy to build. Sheeted wings. The rest is built up using basic building techniques. Plastic isn't too cool, but if you have a few skills, you could easily build a turtledeck and hatch cover with balsa and a few lite ply formers. String it and sheet it or leave it open for ultimate lightweight.
Mine weighed 9.5 pounds before I balanced it. Engine was MDS 148 engine.
Build it according to the plans and resist the urge to put servos in the tail. That will make it tail-heavy and take a LOT of weight to balance it. Don't ask how I know.
If you build it according to the plans, it should come out under 10.5 pounds with a 120-150 size engine.
Remember, the Lanier kits DO NOT come with any hardware. Plan on an additional $30-70 for hardware- depending on your preferences.
The plywood fuse sides look cheasy, but they work fine if you build the plane according to the plans. This is builders kit, so be prepared to build the fuse from sticks and planks. No tab-cut or interlocking pieces on the fuse. It's a built up box with balsa formers-which you will build-and stringers. Very critical to get it square from the beginning and pin it all down.
Wings are straightforward sheeted foam. You will cut the ailerons with a bandsaw or razor saw- after you sheet the entire wing. Wings are 2-piece and mount on an aluminum tube. Do yourself a favor and tap the root ribs for a 1/4--20" bolt-to mount the wings to the fuse. The idea of drilling a hole in the tube and relying on it to NOT strip out- never did make sense to me.
Tail is built up sticks and requires flying wires. You can get a fiberglass cowl for about $35.
How does it fly? I don't know. Mine crashed on take-off due to deadstick engine. Stupid MDS engines!![:'(] But, it's pretty light and has a reputation as a good flyer.

Please... spend your time, build a good airplane, and above all else select a good 4-stroke engine. My gawd... if I had known now back then I would have put a Saito 100 or 120 in my Goldberg Extra. Don't even fiddle around with anything else. The YS has been very good to me and I'm sure there are others that are considered good... but just buy the Saitos for now. You can sell them easily if you want to switch later... I sold my 1.80 after many hours for a very reasonable price.

I'm not sure about 4 stroke because it is expensive, i thought about the spuer tigre 60,70 or 90 2stroke, would it be good for the goldberg extra,http://www.tdlmodels.com/extra330.php,or the laser ?

Take the earlier advice here and plan to spend a bit of cash[:-]
anything under 80" span doesn't really cut it - As I found out the hard way[:@] I had a 66" Extra with a 1.08 glow engine - well it was not up to the last contest. I won't go back until I get a bigger plane with at least a ZDZ 40
some of the72" planes and big 4-strokes are ok in Basic, but once you're tried IMAC, you'll wonder about them too.
a proper setup will be good for several years

RE: What is the best imac plane for up to 150$ ?
well the thing is that i am allready saving long time and i dont think i can save more so i guess the best options i have are the goldberg extra, the ca model 24%(maybe the 27%), this one- http://www.tdlmodels.com/extra330.php and maybe maybe the extremeflight yak 68".
