Default What choices do I have for a 40% pilot

Hi all.

Can some of you guys post any links to where I might find a good 40% pilot for my comparf?.

I like the helmut head ones, but they are pricey though!.

What about the ones that shake in the canopy?
Ages ago I remember seeing a guys plane, and when the motor was running, the pilot was shaking all ever the place, it looked so cool!.
Maybe these are the latex/rubber ones? if so anyone know where I can get a 40% one?

Thanks All

Take a look at the Hemplehead pilots at www.billhempel.com. These are very light.

I think that the best to get are the foam pilots sold by aircraft international the 40% weighs less than an once.

Brian Gilmore makes a really nice pilot that is very light http://composite-creations.com They are bigger than most 40% pilots (most are too small) so they fill up the comp arf canopy just right. Same thing McConville, Shulman and Leesburg have in thier planes (as well as many others). I just painted one up for a guy, they are great quality and a great "pallet" for a custom paint job.
