Well guy's I made it home Monday at 12 noon. At about 4am couldn't drive no more and pulled into a rest area where i proceeded to pass out till 9am woke up covered in sweat from the beating sun. On tuesday took the plane out to see how bad the damage was. I have attached a few pictures. I feel very fortunate that no one was hurt including myself and my caller. Very scary seeing a 40% airplane heading for you...... below are some pictures

A 40% got lose in the pits after a radio failure. I was really lucky to get out of the way my caller was sitting on my radio case.

Tony,

Glad you made it back home safe. Enjoyed flying and competing with ya. The accident was crazy but I'm sure glad ya'll made it out without a scratch. The plane, chair and radio box can be replaced. Lives cannot. Are we going to see you anymore this season or is it just the Regionals? I hope not.

Craig,
Great flying dude you won the last unknown. I told you you would get some wood. the one thing i was very happy about was just that,

No one got hurt. I can always fix the airplane hell I pulled it out of the trash. Some thing about this plane wanting to return to it original state , a pile of sticks. Anyhow I have her stripped and ready for the replacement parts below are some pics.

Later Tony

Tony,

Can you elaborate on the "radio failure" please? I'm always looking to learn and reduce my risk to failure.

Sorry to hear about the damage.

Hey Tony, I remember it getting picked up off a table, not out of the trash, lol. Hope you get it back in the air soon.
