Default H9 Extra 330S VS H9 Edge 540 100cc class

Hello....
I really need some serious help here plz...!
I'm about to buy a 100cc class plane... just wondering anyone out there flies as high as I do or closer (8200 ft. over sea level).
I need some input on planes as light as they can be and as much area as they can have... A friend of mine has a H9 Cap232 (1750sq.in.) and it's a real sweet. There's a chancefor me to get the new H9 Edge: CF landing gear and light as hell. I also have the chance to get the H9 Extra 330S but I was told it's heavier (Do anyone knows if this plane's LG is CF too?).... just can't make up my mind. All I know it's the final weight can't be over 25-25 pounds.. Which one's the best choice for advanced pattern/3D at my flying height?
Thanks in advance for your time and input

I have just completed a H9 Extra 330S - the LG is aluminum.

Safe Flying!

The Extra will fly better if you use glue sparingly, but I would suggest a Troy Built Models (now Roman Built Models) 35% Extra 260... with a 3W-100 (or DA-100) it weighs 22+- 1 lbs.

BME engines has a Radio Craft 35% ARC listed under the used engine area for $750.00. That price may be negotiable. They don't make these anymore, but are awesome, light airplanes. I have one with a DA100 that barely weighs 25 pounds. It is not an arf, but is a very well built almost ready to cover airplane. You need to beef up the spar and tube area before you cover the wings, but other than that, it is a very light, terrifice flying airplane. I would recommend a 3W106 TOC engine for it, for your higher altitude.

The H9's are okay, but are 33% and weigh as much as the Radio Craft does.

Those Radiocrafts were excellent
My H9's come in under 23lbs --always and with the single ZDZ80 on can or muffler can - performance is excellent-at 4350 ft.
either setup the 35%and a 100 or the H9 - depends on the flyer - will do all the tricks
