Default 2006 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout, Registration Info and Calendar of Key Date

Prospective Shootout Pilots,

We have just updated the 2006 Shootout website with updated info on entry, event rules and the schedule of key dates for the registration and pilot selection process.

Please review the following pages:

http://www.desertaircraft.com/shooto.../selection.php

http://www.desertaircraft.com/shooto...entry_info.php

http://www.desertaircraft.com/shootout_2006/rules.php

http://www.desertaircraft.com/shooto...6/schedule.php

Here are the key dates you all need to be aware of.

Saturday, July 15th, 10:00 a.m., Mountain Standard Time
Online web registration with the Intent to Register web form will open.
The Entry Application will be available online for download.

Monday, July 31th, Midnight, Mountain Standard Time
Online web registration with the Intent to Register web form will close.

Tuesday, August 8th
Last day for the Entry Application and Entry Fee for the Shootout to be
recieved by the Contest Director.

Tuesday, August 15th
Pilot list will be posted.

Monday, August 28th
Invitational class Knowns will be available for download.

Monday, September 25th
Last day entry fees will be fully refundable.
After this time, refunds will be made only if
a replacement pilot is successfully registered.

At registration we will require that the prospective pilot give a detailed listing of all the Scale Aerobatic events that you have attended between Jan 1 and July 31, 2006. We will be looking for the following info:

Contest name.
Class flown in.
Number of contestants in the class.
Your placement in the contest.
Contest director for the event.

We will base our point ranking on this list that is supplied by the pilot. When we post the pilot field for each class, we will also publish the list of events that each pilot has provided us.

Please head on over to the Shootout website and review all the web links we have provided above.

Regards,

Anna Wood
