Cincinnati IMAC - bring it on!
Will and I spent last night at the field getting things ready (well, Will worked his butt off and I sat on the mower). It is looking good out there. Mark Jorgensen and John Boyko were already getting in some practice. Just wanted to share a few specifics about the weekend:
1. There is no flying at the field before 9 am. If the turnout is significant - looks like it will be - then we will begin flying IMMEDIATELY at 9. Will and I both have a pet peeve about waiting around to fly, so be ready. If the turnout is light (not gonna happen), we may get an hour of practice flying in before we start. Don't bet on it.
2. Dinner Saturday night will be rotisseree chickens and Silver Queen sweet corn. Free to pilots - $5 to non-pilots. Come hungry.
3. To determine the unknown flight order on Sunday, we will take the order of registration (from Saturday morning) and reverse it. My suggestion - get there early and register immediately or you will lead off the unknowns in your class.
4. Unknowns will be handled to encourage flying on Saturday night all the way until dark.
5. The first judges for the opening rounds will be selected from the late registrants. So register early (need any more incentives to get registered?).
This is going to be a first class contest at a first class facility. Bring your "A" game. Most of all, come out an enjoy what IMAC is all about - flying, friends, and fun.
Directions can be found here:

The pics are from a couple of years ago. Wayne, I tried to capture your best side.
So - who's coming?

Ryan - wish you could make it, too. I think it is only like 1000 miles, so if you've got nothing better to do, the Advanced class would benefit from you being here!
Sam - looking forward to seeing you here!

RE: Cincinnati IMAC - bring it on!
only a thousand miles?? Heck....
Planning to arrive tomorrow afternoon - hope there will be a chance to get a practise flight or two in - I've had only about 20 minutes of practise since the Chicago cup, (and I need more!)
Will you turn off the rain??
Looking forward to some fun - IMAC style.
Cheers,
Bob

Sorry Seth and Ric about your planes.

Really bad singing though, hubb! Yikes!
Thanks for a great time... see ya'll soon!
