2006 Shootout Pilot Rosters Posted
The rosters for the 2006 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout are now posted at www.desertaircraft.com
As in previous years, pilot interest was very high. In particular, we had 71 entries for 40 pilot slots in Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced and Unlimited. In the end, we decided to increase the number of pilots to 48.
We accepted at least 10 pilots from each class based strictly on the points derived from the pilot ranking worksheets. We actually accepted a few more than 10 in the lower classes, since there were more entries than in the higher classes. To increase international participation, we then added two pilots from Europe and two pilots from Puerto Rico.

To cool, it looks like South Central will be well represented with six pilots in this year. "Congrats to all that made the cut". Now go take some names............!
