Default How far can engine be from fuel tank?

I would like to put the fuel tank on the CG of a pattern type plane. Wingspan 67"
I want to use a Saito 125 four stroke.
How far can the engine be from the tank and still draw fuel properly with out using a pump?
The center of the fuel tank would be about 12" from the carb on the engine.

Default RE: How far can engine be from fuel tank?

i would suggest to just pump up a vp pump to save the headace of missing fuel sometime they are about 30 or less the last time i look vp-20 or vp-30. it will also let you lean out the low end as your fuel line will no longer have bubbles in it.
