Info wanted on Wild Hare Giles
Hi Gerald,
I've had one for a couple months now but haven't started in on it yet. I received one of the early ones and there were a few problems which have since been corrected Ie; the wing tube fit, poor quality canopy, cowl paint and a couple minor annoyances. Tom Fawcett has been very prompt to respond and mail out replacement parts.
All in all it appears to be very well designed and built. The covering is ultracote and the scheme is rather striking. The size of the plane allows for several engine choices from 70 to 100cc.
I wish I could comment on the flight characteristics but I'm holding back till next year as I have a Cap-232 and an Edge 540T ready for this year with an Extra 300S almost done.
Hope this info sheds some light on the Giles for you.
Enjoy, Bill
