Basic Known Sequence Pointers
Hello all,
I was practicing the sequence this weekend and a fellow pilot was spotting me making the following observations.
-My 1/2 rolls at the top of the immilman had a short inverted straight line I needed to omit.
-In the two turn spin I give it a few clicks of throttle to flatten it out a little. They say not to do this I can loose points.
Any comments? I assume they are right but I just want to hear some other hints / suggestios.
Thanks
RickP

Basic Known Sequence Pointers
Read section 8.9.5 on page 32 of the afore mentioned Flying and Judging Guide. Paraphrased it states that neither the attitude nor speed of the autorotation are criteria for deductions.
Based on your description a judge should not downgrade you. However, there may be other criteria that those few clicks interfere with (stall break, stopping and restarting autorotation, ect.) Because you cannot better your score by flattening your spin I would suggest that there is no reason to add something else to think about while flying your sequence.
